Compatibility

The Electrom Power Pack is a portable high voltage motor tester that connects to any iTIG series model.

Description

The Power Pack connects to the iTIG with low voltage cables. The Power Pack has its own high voltage output lead for use with all high voltage tests with an additional ground lead for the motor frame. The Power Pack switches automatically between Hipot and Surge tests.

The iTIG screen is used to select the test to be made. The Power Pack sends test data to the iTIG, which processes, stores, and displays the results.

Results from all the tests done on a motor, whether from using the iTIG or the Power Pack, are automatically combined in one test report.

Portability

Power Pack testers are housed in the same size case as the iTIG and each weigh less than 50lbs / 23kg. Despite the small size and low weight the Power Pack still produces surge test output energy of 45 J at 30kV with a discharge capacitance of 100nF.

The 40kV Power Pack is packaged in a similar looking, rugged and durable case as the lower voltage options. While slightly larger, even the 40kV Power Pack is built for industry revolutionizing portability.

Independent Calibration

The Power Pack high voltage motor tester is calibrated independently of the iTIG:

  • The Power Pack can be added to an iTIG at any time without the tester coming back to the factory.
  • The Power Pack can be used with multiple iTIGs, a big cost saving for companies with multiple iTIG motor testers.
